Professional, Personable & Confidential

It is important that the older adult is involved as much as possible so they can feel in control of their life and maintain independence. I have personal experience as well as significant training as a Certified Senior Advisor.

My Experience

I found an organization called Society of Certified Senior Advisors® (SCSA), which is the premier membership organization for professionals who serve older adults. They offer a certification called Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)®.  CSAs are specialists in aging, in which some professionals have supplemented their expertise with knowledge about aging and health, social and financial issues important to many older adults. I knew that this certification would be beneficial when working with older adults and am proud of this accomplishment.

My CSA certification has inspired me to work with older adults and or family members in taking a proactive approach by considering and discussing options for current and future life situations so they can make informed decisions. This might include home modifications, home care or transportation options. I also talk about anticipating future needs and making sure estate planning and end of life arrangements are addressed.

It’s important to find a compassionate and experienced advisor!

The older adult should be involved as much as possible in the decision making process to maintain control and independence in their lives.
